Module Description
The eSign Module is designed to integrate Aadhaar-based digital signature services and PDF generation into business workflows. This module, ensures enhanced document security, maintenance of legal compliance, and reduced manual processes. It operates through two essential components:
eSign Service:
This service allows users to sign documents digitally using their Aadhaar, with authentication through a one-time password (OTP)* sent to their registered mobile number. The two components are:
- ASP (Application Service Provider): This entity interacts with users, collects documents, and handles signature requests. HyperVerge is one such ASP
- ESP (eSign Service Provider): This entity verifies Aadhaar details and issues legally binding digital signatures. NSDL and e-Mudra are two examples.
The service complies with India’s IT Act, 2000, ensuring that Aadhaar-based eSignatures hold the same legal weight as traditional handwritten signatures.
PDF Generator: The PDF Generator simplifies and speeds up the creation of forms or templates for Aadhaar-based eSignatures. What would normally take weeks to set up can now be done in just days, enabling faster implementation and updates. It also offers advanced features such as custom page layouts, the ability to set specific coordinates for signatures, and compatibility with various document types.
The following two modules are required for the complete eSign flow. Please ensure that you submit the requests in the same sequence.
